Russ — Owner, Lead Visionary & 30‑Year Moto Veteran
“Do it right, do it clean, and treat every bike like it’s your own.”
Russ is the driving force behind Fuel Powersports — a lifelong rider, hands‑on mechanic, and respected leader with over 30 years in the moto industry. From running trackside support trucks to becoming a full‑scale powersports shop owner, Russ has dedicated his life to keeping riders on the trail, on the track, and in the mountains.
His journey started long before Fuel Powersports opened its doors. Russ spent decades wrenching, racing, and supporting riders across Colorado, showing up at events with fully stocked trackside trucks to help racers get back on the gate and families keep their machines running. That real‑world experience shaped the foundation of Fuel: honest work, expert craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the riding community.
Russ is known for:
-
diagnosing bikes by sound
-
fixing what other shops miss
-
building long‑term relationships with riders
-
supporting the local moto community on and off the track
-
decades of experience from trackside pits to full shop ownership
Fuel Powersports is the natural evolution of Russ’s lifelong commitment to the sport — a place built by a rider, for riders.
When he’s not in the shop, Russ is a “Papi,” a devoted family man, a proud 20+ year retired Army veteran, and a retired oil field manager. His discipline, grit, and work ethic come from a lifetime of service and hands‑on experience — the same values that fuel every decision he makes at Fuel Powersports.
Three decades in the moto world. A lifetime of doing things the right way. That’s Russ.
